Flapper wants to put you in a jet (for R$ 950)

Flapper Revolutionizes Private Flights with Affordable Prices

FLAPPER is innovating in the private flight sector, offering a new approach in an evolving air market. With the increase in last-minute flight prices, Flapper stands out with more affordable rates. Currently, finding flights below R$ 1,000 for immediate travel is a challenge.

The company offers flights at R$ 950, including taxes and baggage, operating King Air aircrafts to Jacarepaguá Airport. Founded in 2016, Flapper began with air taxi services and also sold seats on under-booked flights, exploring a market that was underserved.

Over time, Flapper shifted its strategy. It began selling seats on fixed routes, taking on the risks of empty seats. This change increased the demand for its services. Now, the company is looking to expand its operations due to changes in the air sector.

Currently, FLAPPER transports 500 passengers per month. Its gross revenue doubled in the last quarter compared to the previous year. In pursuit of further growth, the company initially raised R$ 3 million and is now focusing on Series A funding. Its goal is to expand in Latin America and invest in technology. Soon, it will launch a flight model with shared seats and risks, allowing customers to choose their own level of financial risk.
