CDP Event: Confrapar Progressing Towards Net-Zero

CONFRAPAR took part in a pivotal CDP Latin America event, a global nonprofit organization leading the environmental disclosure system for companies, cities, states, and regions. Founded in 2000 and working with over 740 financial institutions, CDP has been a pioneer in mobilizing capital markets and corporate procurement to promote environmental impact disclosure and the adoption of sustainable practices.

This event emphasized the transition to a low-carbon economy, aligning with Confrapar’s values and goals. With around 20,000 organizations disclosing data through CDP in 2022, including over 18,700 global companies, the platform plays a crucial role in fostering a sustainable and resilient economy.

At the event, Juliana Lima, Market Capital Manager at CDP Latin America, provided valuable insights into climate and environmental disclosure for financial markets and corporate engagement strategies for decarbonization. With an economics background, Juliana made significant contributions to understanding environmental and regulatory risks in the financial sector.

Confrapar’s presence was strengthened by the leadership of partner-director Thiago and the contributions of Juliana Rolla, ESG Principal at Confrapar and founder of OMA Ativos Ambientais. Together, they reinforce the company’s commitment to sustainable business practices and alignment with global standards of sustainability and environmental governance.
