Xmobots, the largest drone company in Latin America, has received an important authorization from the National Civil Aviation Agency (ANAC). The company can now use the Nauru 500C ISR Drone for night flights. This certification allows the drone to operate at night, reaching up to 60 kilometers and climbing to an altitude of 400 ft AGL (400 feet above ground level). Approved on May 30, this will enable Xmobots to expand its operations.

The Nauru 500C ISR Drone will be used for real-time video monitoring as an intelligent surveillance system. This is the first project approved in Brazil, reaffirming Xmobots as the largest drone company in Latin America. For the approval of night flights, the drone underwent various tests. The trials simulated real conditions for the operation. The goal was to maintain the equipment’s visibility under BVLOS conditions, above 400 ft AGL.

“Once again, we are ahead with this certification, being the first company to obtain approval for this project. This demonstrates our commitment to the market and the leading technologies available. We will continue to expand the use of our technologies for increasingly important missions,” emphasized the founder and CEO, Giovani Amianti. Our plans include expanding operations and adapting technologies for new applications.

With the certification, clients in the Defense and Public and Private Security sectors will be able to conduct missions more efficiently in detecting illicit activities and monitoring assets during the night, a critical period.

In the agribusiness sector, the certification will allow real-time monitoring of forest fires, representing a milestone for the industry, among other applications.
