Ingresse earns R$1.9 billion and sets sights on European football
Keeping an eye on the growth of the sports events market, Ingresse, a Brazilian entertainment platform specializing in ticket sales, is aiming for a leading role in the football sector. The company has expanded its operations by investing in national clubs and now plans to extend its reach into the European market, leveraging strategic mergers and acquisitions as well as a dedicated sports investment fund.
In September, Ingresse acquired Ticket Sports, marking one of seven acquisitions completed by the company to strengthen its foothold in sports events. Ingresse has also broadened its portfolio to include companies like BlackTag, IngressoLive, and Virtualticket, which operate in university events and concerts. Beyond ticket sales for Brazil’s Série A football matches, Ingresse sponsors clubs, as seen in a recent agreement with Cruzeiro, where its brand appears on players’ jerseys.
“We help our entertainment and sports partners grow by providing credit advances through our investment fund,” explains Gabriel Benarrós, CEO of Ingresse. Through its Encore fund, the company aims to invest R$100 million in 2024. In 2025, Ingresse plans to expand its international operations—currently established in countries such as France and Portugal—into new markets and to attract diverse audiences, thereby strengthening its presence both in Brazil and abroad.
