Flapper wins award during Aviation Summit

Flapper, the first executive aviation platform on-demand in Brazil, was one of the winners of this year’s competition during the Global Investment in Aviation Summit, in Dubai.

The program was carried out by Intelak Incubator, sponsored by Emirates Group, GE and Etisalat, and promotes innovative projects with the potential to boost the region’s tourism sector.

The finalists had the chance to present their projects to a selected group of investors, as well as representatives of the General Civil Aviation Authority and the United Arab Emirates Ministry of Economy. Flapper was one of three companies that reached the final, which also featured Flug Auto (eVTOL) and Inspect AI (artificial intelligence solution for aircraft inspection).

Flapper, which currently offers shared flights in Southeast Brazil and charter on demand, also announced its plans to launch its platform in Dubai as early as the second quarter of 2020.
