BESS from UCB Power is highlighted as a model solution at event
During the launch of the Futuro Fuel Bill in Brasília, UCB Power presented its energy storage system, the BESS (Battery Energy Storage System). With the participation of authorities such as the President of the Republic, the Vice President, and the Minister of Mines and Energy, the event highlighted the key role of batteries in advancing Brazil’s new energy matrix.
UCB Power was invited by the Brazilian Association of Energy Storage Solutions (ABSAE) to present the BESS, a solution that promises to enhance the security of the electrical system and reduce costs for consumers. The UBESS Integrated 215, featuring lithium batteries and cutting-edge technology, was one of the highlights, reinforcing the company’s commitment to local production and innovation.
“We had the opportunity to present our energy storage solution, the BESS, emphasizing how energy storage plays an important role in the energy transition agenda under discussion,” said Marcelo Rodrigues, Vice President of Sales and Innovation at UCB Power.
