How to keep up with what your child is eating at school

In this return to school, how about starting to teach your child how to manage the money spent in the school cafeteria? An application partnered with 330 schools allows parents to monitor their children’s snack consumption financially. The Nutrebem app sends a summary of weekly consumption in the cafeteria and enables the limitation of daily expenses.

Instead of standing in line and buying snacks at the cafeteria cashier, children make purchases at a Nutrebem self-service terminal, similar to an ATM. They have their own digital account, which parents can reload through the app or in person at the cafeteria.

Through the self-service terminal, children can buy snacks using a Nutrebem prepaid card or a login and password. Starting this week, they will also be able to make purchases using their cell phone, via QR code.
