Confrapar makes a substantial investment of R$20 million in Ubook
The Brazilian audiobook company Ubook has received an investment of R$ 20 million from Confrapar, a fund management firm. Established in 2014, the company boasts a collection of over 300,000 titles, including books, magazines, podcasts, courses, and lectures. The narration is carried out by a team of actors, editors, narrators, authors, and sound designers.
The Ubook app has become the largest streaming audiobook service in Latin America, with over 6.5 million registered users. With the R$ 20 million investment, the company plans to increase content production and expand its international operations.
