Muxi and Fortress innovate with ‘card-not-present’ solution

US-based multi-factor authentication developer Fortress Identity has joined forces with Brazil’s electronic payment solution Muxi to incorporate compound biometric security into the latter’s payment solution, the company announced.

An innovative product in payment technology, muxiPAY was launched during the Finovate Fall 2019 event in New York City between September 23 and 26.

MuxiPAY is a point-of-sale solution that allows customers to make purchases without having to take out a credit card because the AI engine developed by Fortress Identity will deploy facial recognition to validate the shopper at checkout and a certain passphrase will be analyzed with voice biometrics.
