Confrapar marked its presence at a key event of CDP Latin America, a global non-profit organization leading the environmental disclosure system for companies, cities, states, and regions. Founded in 2000 and working with over 740 financial institutions, CDP has been a pioneer in leveraging capital markets and corporate procurement to encourage businesses to disclose their environmental impacts and adopt sustainable practices.
This event emphasized the transition to a low-carbon economy, aligning with Confrapar’s values and goals. With about 20,000 organizations reporting through CDP in 2022, including more than 18,700 global companies, the platform plays a vital role in promoting a sustainable and resilient economy.
At the event, Juliana Lima, Capital Market Manager of CDP Latin America, provided valuable insights on climate and environmental disclosure for financial markets and corporate engagement strategies for decarbonization. With her background in economics, Juliana significantly contributed to understanding the environmental and regulatory risks in the financial sector.
Confrapar’s presence was strengthened by the leadership of Managing Partner Thiago and the involvement of Juliana Rolla, ESG Principal at Confrapar and founder of OMA Environmental Assets. Together, they reinforce the company’s commitment to sustainable business practices and alignment with global standards of sustainability and environmental governance.
